I watched through the murky window. The winds grip on the night was indeed a mighty one. My nose crinkled as the rain began to hit the roof. I did like the pitter-patter but it was the fact that it was going to be damp tomorrow that troubled me. I stood up simply and went over to the fireplace.
Hoyt, I need a fire started right away. I commanded into the empty hearth. Slowly two pairs of eyes poked out of the ashes. Hoyt yawned.
Yes master anything you say. He then disappeared again and a fire began to build up.
